Wimbledon Park Golf club PGA Golf Professional
After a fantastic spell of weather with the course drying out nicely, it was back to the winter months as an absolute deluge of rain turned Wimbledon Park Golf Club into something more resembling a water park. Great weather if you're a duck.
We hope our members enjoyed their Spring Meeting despite the weather.
Custom Fitted product isn't more expensive
Who's in this camp? "Custom fitted products cost me more than buying off the shelf." Wrong! If we got a pound for every time we heard this one…
We have the tools and the expertise to help you enjoy better golf by custom fitting you for equipment that's right for your own swing - and this doesn't have to come at an extra cost.
Our goal is to help you get more enjoyment from the game - which comes in many forms, maybe extra distance, finding more fairways, or just better ball striking consistency. However, custom fitted product doesn't have to be more expensive; we'd rather see our customers happy with their new equipment.
Until the end of June, we are offering a FREE fitting and a FREE after sales lesson when you buy hardware from us. Please click here to view a video that will show you more.
If you have any custom fitting or equipment queries, don't hesitate to come and speak to us or click here to send us an email.
Don't be caught with your trousers down...
Our brand new crested belts are in stock, and look fantastic.
We only have a limited level of stock available, so make sure you drop in soon.
We look forward to seeing you.
So, another weekend, another win for Australia's Jason Day, who cruised to a four-stroke victory at Sawgrass to take golf's unofficial 'fifth Major' - the Players Championship.
We say 'cruised' but that doesn't necessarily tell the full story. Despite reaching the halfway point in a record 129 blows, it was tough going thereafter with the world number one even treating us to a few duffed chips and a four-putt.
However, the 28-year-old was not to be denied, and reminded everyone of his class and mental toughness when he completed the back nine in 33, just when he was starting to look vulnerable. Remind you of anyone?
Ah yes, Tiger Woods, who's been back in the news this week after attending Congressional Country Club for the Quicken Loans National media day.
As part of a promotional stunt for a charitable effort from his tournament's title sponsor, he took to the tee on the par-3 10th - and dunked three efforts into the water.
It would appear Woods is still a long way off making a competitive return to action. For now, all we can do is sit back and enjoy the Jason Day Show - there would seem to be a few more of them on the way. It's now seven wins in 17 starts by the way, impressive stuff.
